Dear Judge Ingram:
Regarding the case of GA vs Landon Terell that you were in charge. I respectively request that Mr. Terell be released on time served. He is not a criminal but a very gentle person who would not harm anyone.
I sat through you court proceeding and was quite shocked how the state of Georgia would not show sympathy on an individual who has never had a criminal record. I strongly feel that the nursing home that hired Mr. Terell should be held accountable for his actions. He was not trained to handle a patient which needed more experienced personnel and the nursing knew this for they placed him in a situation for failure.
From the day that the detectives interviewed Mr. Terell, he was beyond cooperative that might cost him his life. He taught me and a lot of other CNA’s a very valuable lesson this can be seen from the blog information on Facebook. It is not a mystery that a person with Alzheimer’s/Dementia are like a Jekyll and Mr. Hyde; one minute they can hold a sensible conversation with you and another they do not recall ever talking to you. Case in point. My sister-in-law that I have know of over 60 years treat me like a stranger when the sun goes down. She does not want to take a shower and want to fight with you at times. It has gotten so bad in the household that during a shuffle with her daughter the daughter felled on a concrete edge and is now paralyzed from the waist to the bottom of her feet and she still cares for her mother in a wheelchair; she is bound to this chair and never will be able to walk again.
Now my wife aunt who was evacuated to Kentucky in 2005 in the midst of hurricane Katrina gave my wife gifts during one of our visits to Kentucky. Her aunt had the officials of the nursing home to call us and stated that those items were taken without her permission. “Here” my wife’s a

Landon is a pure-hearted individual, very loving and gentle. I've known him since 2009 and he's been nothing but a positive, big-brother role model to me and my sister. I do not believe he intentional did anything to hurt this man. I know in my heart that he would never assault anyone, let alone an elderly man. He has served two years in jail for neglect and now his time has come to be released back into the real world. He deserves to be a free man, as justice has already been served. #FreeLandonTerrel #August2
