They actually listened and are rolling back the changes. I honestly never imagined this would happen when I first started the page, but your commitment made the difference. Thank you for sticking with this until the end.

On May 18th Facebook launched "Promoted Posts" charging page members between $5 and $500 to have page posts reach all members depending on the page size. We feel this is unfair as people "Liked" our pages to receive content they chose and we shouldn't be forced to pay extra to have these people read our posts. "For example, if an ecommerce merchant wants inform Facebook fans about a special offer or new product, a Promoted Post would be one way to guarantee the message reaches a wider audience than a normal Timeline post." These "Promoted Posts" are great for large businesses that want to get their products out there, however for the "Regular Joes" and in our case a page for showing men and women of our military gratitude it is making reaching all our members difficult. If you think these restrictions should be removed please sign our petition. Thank You Dave Murphy - Thank A Soldier Calgary, Alberta

I run a small rescue group and we can barely afford food for the animals. We definitely dont have a budget for ads to talk to our own fans!

Ridiculous. We built these communities to connect with people not to be held hostage by Facebook just to reach our own followers.

If fb wont stop this then maybe its time we all start looking for somewhere else to go. Getting tired of everything being about money.

Total BS. If people click like on my page they should see my updates. Period.

Greedy move by Zuckerberg as usual. Just another tax on small pages.
