http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/team-free-blue <<<Sign for Nukka with her friend Blue!

"Nukka," a Husky, needs your help! She got loose from her yard & attacked a cat, which is very natural for this breed to do since they have a strong prey drive and she wasn't being vicious towards people, according to the reports. She is being wrongly accused of being vicious & she needs your help. Please help save her life by signing this petition!!

Thank you for sharing this about Nukka. Have you considered attending attending the hearing and providing this info about her to the judge?

Ridiculous that they want to put her down for acting like a dog. Stay strong!

Sending prayers for Nukka and Blue. This is so unfair on the owners. My husky chased a squirrel once does that mean shes a monster too???

I was probably the first person to call the police concerning the dogs at around 4am Tuesday. My dog woke me up barking and when I looked out onto the deck the two dogs were looking in the door. I cracked open the door and spoke to the dogs. The pit bull kept her distance but constantly growled in a way that said I don't trust you, but I'm with the husky. The husky on the other hand was very sweet and calm and enjoyed being petted and wanted to come in the house, but behaved perfectly when I told her no. Then Nukka layed down against my back door to rest and appearing to be tired. I was trying to rotate her collar around to check for a tag with the door cracked open, but the pit bull was very untrustworthy and I felt that she may protect the husky if she thought I was hurting her. I didn't feel a tag anyway. I'm a cat owner as well and feel bad for the cat owner, but it is natural for many breeds of dogs to kill a cat if they are not raised around them. Given my experience with the pit bull, I do not blame the officer for shooting at her and commend the officer for their restraint. Bottom line; Nukka was super adorable, calm and I regret that I did not let her in the house and leave the pit bull outside so I could find the owners.
