I've played TF2 for years(since the MvM update to be exact) and I still play it alot. I believe that it would be in Valve's favor to port the current version of TF2 to the current-gen consoles, and I have several reasons for doing so. 1: In terms of full usage of the game's control scheme, they could simply do a function similar to what they have now in terms of the simplified menu options for class menus. What I mean is simply use a smaller control scheme for it, but use multiple clicks for the same keys when in said menus. 2: The player base is there to be able to support the life of the game and to buy items. They would also have the large console YouTubers to be able to provide popularity to the game. 3: My last reason is simply that if the game does well on these platforms then it would simply be a step for more Valve games to port to consoles. This can be both good and bad. It could be good because of more customers for Valve, but also damaging to the PC community because this could result in "dumbing down" on certain more complicated aspects of Valve games. With these reasons I hope that people who view this proposition would consider to sign this petition.
