I was first introduced to Teal Swan's YouTube channel by my mother on May 8, 2019, just after a weeklong stay in a mental health ward because of a suicidal episode. I was hesitant to watch a video entitled "DEPRESSION (The Truth about Depression that No One Sees or Understands)", but when I did, and Teal got to the heart of her message, I knew Teal really understood what my counselors and therapists had not personally-experienced and could not sufficiently address. Since May, I have watched over 222 videos of Teal's YouTube content, many of which are a half hour long and packed with actual action steps one can take to progress in their emotional healing. I was also able to attend a synchronization workshop and found Teal Tribe and its members who have been real friends to me in my darkest hours. I have taken Teal's online Self Love course, read two of her books, and I have applied many, many of Teal's teachings to my life... including accepting my suicidal feelings so I could get to the root of "why" and work on it. THAT is what Teal teaches: really feeling out the problem to find the REAL and LASTING solution to the traumas of life. I am forever grateful to Teal for making her valuable teachings so publicly accessible at a time when I could not financially afford paid therapies. I cannot express enough gratitude for the vocabulary she taught me to effectively discuss my needs and processes with others. She truly helped me save my life by helping me grow into a more emotionally- and socially-functional human being.

I'm forever grateful for Teal and her teachings. I have tried going to therapists and psychiatrist for many years. No one has managed to help me in all those years the way Teal helped me. She is one of the biggest reasons I am alive and on my healing path.

I cannot express enough how much Teal has helped me. I could write a 5000 page book and it still wouldn't suffice for how much this woman has forever helped me. I love her tremendously!

Teal has helped me look into my own blind spots to become a better person and mother. To integrate my shadow and heal my wounds.

This angel has been a huge part of my life and spiritual growth and has helped me an non-comprehensible amount, Teal Swan has be a key factor in me not committing suicide, to assume she is a bad influence based on 1 personal experience and decision, is just the kind of weightless, nit picked, insignificant argument, bigoted fools with too much money would try to put up against her, its a criminal conspiracy and we won't let it happen

I think we are still in the dark age when it comes to addressing the fact that we have so many people who feel suicidal in our society. Suicide is a social problem, I want to see us treat it in a way that recognises we have the responsibility to eachother to ensure we take care of the emotional and psychological dimensions of our existence. In many respects, we are still in the dark age when it comes to addressing Suicide in our society. Medicating and putting vulnerable people on Suicide watch is not appropriate. CBT is not appropriate for suicidal invdividals, and we can’t just as a society focus on invterventionism when people are at crisis point and then leave the same vulnerable people high and dry when it comes to increasing their own self-awareness and why they feel and respond the way they do, have and are. If people who suffer from an alcohol addiction create a group where they can learn from, and about others who suffer with the same thing, those individuals are more likely to develop social bonds, healing, self- and social awareness and they are more likely to seek and practice tools that they can share with their peers, this is critical to healing. To say that Alcoholics Anonymous is reinforcing alcoholics behaviour simply wouldn’t be said. Because it’s not. Or take DBT, DBT largely focuses it’s sharing of content taking place within groups of likeminded individuals who have self harmed, likely to harm due to not being able to process big emotions whilst having unresolved traumas from the past. These attendees or participants are catalysts to each others healing which validates (makes real) the condition they experience which is the opposite of isolation. And yes, this is also the catalyst to healing. Teal Swan doesn’t teach you to be dependent on her, she teaches you to facilitate and recreate trust within yourself and apply it to the context of your life and relationships by offering practical tips that you can put to use. She doesn’t charge money

Teal Swan's teachings helped me realise that life is worth living. I am ever thankful to her. I trust her 100% and her work is immensely valuable to the world. You just have to take a look at her content to realise that her teachings encourage people to choose to live life and be happy.

I have followed Teal since 2014, I have listened to every word. She does NOT promote suicide. She goes to THE CORE of every emotional trauma, helping people who can't afford therapy help themselves. Teal has not only improved my and many of my friends mental health more than ANY therapy, meditation or yoga - she has also helped me become more authentic, a better friend, and human being. The BBC reporter has made seriously poor research, and the parents accusing Teal of their daughters suicide are projecting their grief. If anything, I would question the competence of the journalist.

Teal saved my life on all accounts. I would never be here without her messages and without the wonderful people at TealTribe.
