the scariest thing about sexual assault among students is that sometimes victims don’t even know they’re being assaulted. we need to know about issues that directly affect us, and the taboo around sexual assault or any sexual matters isn’t helping with that. without removing the taboo, you propagate the idea that silence is the right course of action and that victims are overreacting.

Students should be exposed to the dangers of sexual assault because making them feel uncomfortable about sensitive topics like these is important to help them become more aware and grow as a young adult!
