We believe teachers deserve respect for the jobs they do and not blame. Mr. Seth Grossman has used his column in The Current to tear apart teachers for the wages they earn and the work that they do. While Mr. Grossman's column is considered editorial, he has abused this weekly opportunity to push his own agenda and gain publicity for his law practice and organization. Mr. Grossman should not be given a platform that allows him to make baseless claims and attack those who are not to blame. We believe a column like Mr. Grossman's has no place in a publication that focuses on the positives of our communities and schools. We pledge to discontinue reading The Current and Shore Gazette until the appropriate changes are made.
