I am signing in support of all these wonderful people who inspire and educate my children. It's a tough job, one that can only be channelled through true vocation. No need for power hungry, narrow sighted politicians to make their life harder than necessary!

I love teaching pupils with special needs - the negativity towards us all is just too much!

Personally: am now on anti-anxiety/depressant drugs to enable me to go to work. Professionally: the education system is being dismantled for political ends, children's education and wellbeing are suffering. Relationships in my school are suffering because of an Ofsted-crazy Head.

The Arts matter..don't destroy students' choice. We must have an inspiring curriculum and inspired and inspirational teachers. My Drama teacher Mrs Sheridan inspired me.....over 30 years ago to teach...now I feel like our profession is on the brink.....never felt so demoralised!

Teachers should be there to teach and guide young individuals. Not jump through hoops for Ofsted or working in a target driven environment. Students are human beings - not targets!

The best teachers inspire children to WANT to learn... this is what will ultimately determine both individual achievement and an education system we can once again be proud of

Listen Mr Gove, listen to educators, you're systematically destroying morale and education at the same time!!!!!

Teachers need their dignity and confidence back. Let us do our jobs without being constantly put down at work and in the press!
