Schools have stopped teaching our children cursive. I believe this is a skill our children should be taught. Why do they feel the need to stop teaching it? Not enough time? Technology is taking over? Reasons that are completely ridiculous. If there’s not enough time, make it. In order for our children to take notes they’re going to have to spend money just for the latest technology?
My son is in 5th grade and isn’t able to read a note or letter from his parents, his grandparents, letters or important documents from the past. What happens when they need to take notes quickly later on in life? Printing takes more time than cursive! If there’s not enough time in school to teach it, make time! When I was in school there was time. I plan on
sending this to the U.S Department of Education! Hoping this can change our children’s education for the better!
