Also I wouldn't bother taking to electronics too seriously because,the tones are amazing but,let's think logically and make a list of any possible offensive expression pedals and see how long it is and which brands are offensive we will be here a good long while

I hate sexism and all forms of discrimination but,no matter who you are you have the right to freedom of speech and freedom of expression even if your expression only comes through crude humor named pedals.

Show a little professionalism here, people. Also, perhaps a little common sense. Are you intentionally trying to limit your share of the market to strictly male musicians. If so, you're doing a great job of it, and seriously losing out on a lot of female buying power.

I went with a friend to one of SP's shows, thinking they really were a parody. But after being there, listening to the jokes, many about underaged girls, and watching them successfully prod the women to go onstage topless, I realized that they are the true embodiment of that retrograde misogyny I grew up under in the 80's. They are no different than the racist who hides behind their racism with the 'it's only a joke' excuse. Sometimes, surely, it is only a joke, but in many cases, the pleasure taken from the joke is a sign of the inequality that makes the laughs all the more stinging. They pose as what they are: sexists, and this pedal is yet one more example of a prop for a system that ought to have gone away long ago, yet remains as a hindrance to true equality.

This isnt "boring sexism" and doesnt intimidate women for being musicians over a joke from a joke band. Whatll hurt women more is you type of people who think everything is offensive and will boycott/ cry out over every little thing

Remember its not about context even if it doesnt hurt anyone its still offensive and hurtful for their little feels

It isnt making light of sexism it is making light of a joke that isnt serious nor is it sexist

There is need of offensive satire just look at punk music there is so many of those bands lile guttermouth or even many old skate punk bands they're ment to be a joke even the band the guitarist is in is a joke and not meant to be serious. So stop white knighting and learn that music is for expressing ones self in any way shape or form

Firstly, in theory I support this petition... but this tone print is hardly an isolated instance of an effect having a derogatory name, and it's not even the most offensive by a long way. So why go after this particular effect when there are worse out there? If you want this effect to be either removed or have a less derogatory name, then why not also the others? The petition starter reviews effects pedals so she has no excuse for not exactly what the state of play of the market is.

This makes me embarrassed to be a guitar player.
