Really bad example to set for people wanting to play guitar pedals. Pretty disappointed in this company.

TC Electronics, you do realize that women play guitar too, and buy your products, right? Please change the name of this ASAP.

Of the many reasons this name is terrible and offensive here is one: This name is not funny or clever; it’s lazy and disgusting. It relies on conjuring an outdated, old fashioned, plain old sexist rock n roll culture where women are assumed to be “groupies” rather career musicians.

I don't even know where to begin regarding how distasteful this is and how disappointed I am that TC Electronic is responsible.

Incredibly distasteful. No wonder that guitar and effects are totally male dominated and alienating to women when large companies such as TC Electronic will publish sexist material such as this.

Steel Panther proves that “ironybro” nonsense only materially reproduces oppression under the cloak of satire. I started a pedal company recently, and you will never see this kind of misogynistic crap from us. Many people who are not cis white heterosexual men play guitar and the market still does not reflect that. Unacceptable, and I will never buy or promote TC products.

I genuinely can't understand how you thought this was an ok thing to do.
