Hello, my name is Tim Clay and I'm a senior here at the University of Iowa. If you're here, you probably already know me, but for those of you who don't, allow me to introduce myself. I'm a senior secondary social studies education major looking to become a high school teacher. I'm from Johnston, Iowa (born and raised) and have committed a lot of time to the University of Iowa.

I'm currently in my 4th year as a member of the Hawkeye Marching Band and volunteer a lot of extra time and energy to that endeavor. I will be entering into my 4th year as a member of the Iowa Pep Band this winter and look forward to another dedicated year for men's and women's basketball as well as wrestling. I'm a member of the Music Fraternity Phi Mu Alpha currently serving as the head of Marching Band Merchandise. Last year I served as our fraternity's Fraternity Education Officer and was in charge of recruitment and the initiation process for two of our biggest rush classes. I've served as an orientation guide the last two summers and have worked with thousands of students as they prepare for life as a Hawkeye. I'm currently an RA on campus and spend most of my evenings doing that. This last spring I was nominated for an Iowa Challenge award for my Engagement within the University.

I love the University of Iowa and try to show that in all my activities from the HMB to orientation to being an RA to my fraternity. I'm just trying to be a good guy here at Iowa and make sure everyone's a little better for having known me. On Iowa and Go Hawks!  Thank you everyone.
