Channing Tatum is a good enough actor but he couldn't be more wrong for the part of Gambit. He's the wrong build, and the wrong coloring. All his movies involve dancing rather than fighting. Remy is supposed to be a badass slender-but-hella-muscled magician-esque hussling theif that oozes sex appeal. Taylor Kitsch did a pretty decent job portraying that.
