TASIS Dorado Nutrition Initiative
In the last 5 years, much scientific research and progress has been made in the understanding of how what we eat affects academic performance, physical performance, and disease states. We have an opportunity as a community to take this knowledge and arm our children with the best tools to be successful in life! Public schools in the United States and local private school competitors have made great strides in this area. It is our turn!! A small committee of doctors, administrators, nutritionists and concerned parents have met briefly to determine what this might look like for us and to ensure we are meeting the basic public school standards. In order to show those in decision making positions that we are dedicated as a community to improvement in this area, we have created this petition. Please help us continue to show that TASIS is the absolute best school on the island in all possible ways and a leader to be modeled after.
