This is simply human decency that's requested.

I have to admit, it is kind of eerie working freight, with all of these different boxes coming from these different places, and there's no type of equipment available or provided. I have to bring my own materials from home, but sometimes it's frowned upon because "they" don't want you to scare away the customers. I was sick 2wks ago, I had to call out but was expected to be back to work the next time I was scheduled. No one suggested that I get tested or anything. Also, it doesn't look like we'll be quarantined because the schedule is full for the next 3wks. It's a double-edged sword because we still get to work and make money, but our lives are constantly in danger because of this virus.

If employees don't believe you care about them, it' just one step closer to unionizing or hiring all illegal aliens. Both are PR nightmares

My wife is potentially sick but considered part time so she got 7 hrs of sick pay because that is all that she had.

I dont agree with the hazard pay, but everything else is certainly reasonable (depending on the definition of non-essential, also)

Dear Target, your employees are real people. If you cannot take care of them while demanding their constant labor to stuff your pockets, then stop forcing them to risk repeated exposure. You are endangering human lives by providing no options for your employees to protect themselves and your *valued* guests (excuse me, I meant dollar signs). Whatever casualties your company suffers because you wanted to keep sucking every last cent from desperate people who are already scared to death will be placed squarely on your shoulders. TAKE CARE OF YOUR WORKERS WHILE THEY'RE ON YOUR CLOCK OR ALLOW THEM TO SELF QUARANTINE WITH PROPER COMPENSATION (and by that I mean food AND rent AND medical expenses!). Greed is disgusting. The lack of action on your part is beyond disgusting. FIX THIS.

You are heroes for the work you do, and deserve to be treated as such and with reverence and real respect by management (and the public, especially your customers), which means real, objective measures to keep you safe. I'm a Target customer, and support whatever you have to do to protect yourselves, up to and including sick-outs, wildcat, etc.

The human beings who are bravely working at Target and other grocers should be protected by the company to the highest possible standards. Customers and executives should be made to respect their safety as well as that of the overall community. Stores are making money hand over fist, protect your workers! They are Patriots! Meet AT LEAST these demands or be ashamed!
