I've had a similar situation when trying to apply for the paid leave through Target it is a convoluted process, I wasn't even able to get a hold of a person on the phone so I was instructed to submit my paid leave through the email Targetleave [email protected]. shortly after sending my email it was promptly returned saying that access to this recipient had been denied, they're so overwhelmed that they can't even handle an automatic response.

my partner works at target and as an immune compromised person i have been unable to see them for weeks due to the complete lack of protection target employees are given by management. they are terrified of going to work, wondering when they’ll ever be able to see friends or family again without fear of potentially spreading COVID to us. I will not stay silent on this issue, and I will be advocating that people do not shop at target until employees are allowed AT LEAST ALL the demands made in this petition.

My mother works for target and is extremely immunocompromised, it’s not safe for her to continually have to work while being diabetic and in cancer remission.

Target employees should be paid the additional $600/week like extended unemployment. They are putting their lives on the line to provide essentials during this time.

Safe working conditions are a basic human right and should be a prerequisite for any business activity. Any employer that does not protect the workers that make them money doesn't deserve to be in business. Give Tareget workers what they deserve: Good pay, PPE, etc. AND recognize their union and treat them with dignity and respect so you guys aren't so far behind the ball in the future.
