I work at Target, a horrible company. Their workers are expendable to them. They are doing the opposite of what the CDC advises. I have co-workers with almost 60+ hours a week, many of which are working while sick. Not to mention we are in contact with hundreds of people a day, with many that are coughing and sneezing. We are told to clean counters and registers and displays every 30 minutes, without gloves or protection. And then we get yelled at when we can't complete other tasks in time. We have customers coming in shopping for clothing, shoes, electronics, toys. None of this is essential. All the shelves in market are empty. Target only wants to make a profit. They only care about money and it shows during these times.

I have been a loyal Target customer for decades. I boycott Walmart for neglectful corporate practices re: their employees. Now you are doing it as well. I will no longer recommend you as I have & will seek other retailers to support until I hear you have taken the actions requested in this petition. Your employees deserve no less and YOU must do better to protect them IMMEDIATELY!

I like this company, but not if they act like schmucks to their people while racking in their own ridiculous salaries.

We need to take more drastic steps to contain and stop the spread of COVID-19. Retail and grocery stores are a breeding ground for viruses that can easily move from one person to another, something they touch, or simply opening a door after someone else. Especially the Target employees that are above 60 years of age. We NEED to take their health and safety into consideration. Everyone needs to work but we shouldn't be putting people in a position where it's either being able to pay their bills or surviving.

We shop at Target on a weekly basis as does my family in Texas. We count on you to protect the workers who are the reason many of us continue to shop there.

Sounds like Target needs to step up and do the right thing, big time.
