Tantrims and Tiaras Childrens Hair Salon, Glasgow is a beautiful place where kids go and get their hair done from their first cut till they feel it's time to go to an adult salon. While getting their hair done they can watch a DVD of their choice in a relaxed atmosphere. You can also have a party at the salon, at the parties you can create a work of art at the craft table while waiting for your turn to get curls or a french plait in your hair, your nails painted or a little make-up applied. After all that you can sing on the karaoke or dance, have a bite to eat and a drink when everyones had their makeover you can play party games and finally the scrummy chocolate fountain. Sandra White SNP MSP intends to start a parlimentry motion condeming this salon as she believes that it is contributing to the further erosion of childhood innocence and the continuing sexualisation of children and that it pressurises children into acting and behaving in ways which are detrimental to a childs natural healthy development leading to possible problems in the future such as emotional distress, anxiety, low self-esteem, eating disorders and depression. Sandra White has never been to the salon to see for herself that it's a completely child orientated friendly and safe place and not the beauty clinic she believes it to be. If you believe Sandra White is in the wrong by condeming the salon before she investigates further then please sign this petion in support of Tantrims and Tiaras
