Everyday I see people using the left hand lane on Templar Way in order to turn right for Chart Road, then they have the gaul to sound their horn at you for using the right lane and getting in their way. Something needs to be done!

i always use the third lane to come round and im one of those drivers to cut up if your in the wrong lang

Use the right hand lane for the A28 to tenterden. If you are approaching a roundabour and your exit is at any angle greater than 180 degrees you should use the right hand lane.

its ludicrous design is unclear to non local traffic as well as local traffic. and as a lot of very large foreign lorry a use it to access the town and surrounding rural areas, it's surprising so far the no one has been hurt or killed. My very cautious mum has had several experiences of being threated by other drivers, for following the rules. These are as a result of a angry and aggressive drivers who are not. She now uses it wrong on purpose through fear of being run off the road or worse. Better instructions, lane markings and signs would be a start. BUT PLEASE, Don't replace it with traffic lights!!! Ashford has a traffic light pandemic lately and that really will make it worse, given the amount of lights already less than a mile in any direction, from this site.
