This subway needs to be closed to stop the public from seeing these issues. Its not safe its not nice and serves no purpose if the piblic are too scared to use it for what it has been designed to be used for!

Ashton is growing to be a town where the public do not feel safe.
Closing the underpass should be the first of many measures to ensure the safety of the people in the town.

I have to walk through there with a 2 year old and I have had to push his pram around needles and alsorts on the ground and now he wants to be out of pram more but its not safe for him

I have walked through this underpass with my children and it is absolutely terrifying. It should be closed down and filled with concrete

This is another issue in the area that needs action immediately; by reluctant authorities it is therefore condoning this anti social, intimidating & dangerous behaviour that is unacceptable.

The idea of looking after homeless is a good one but it's bringing serious issues to the residents who live near the underpass. It is no longer safe to use and needs to be closed as it is currently used for drugs.

This needs closing for good.
We live right by here and have encountered so much trouble and anti-social behaviour, the Noise is terrible at night there are used needles on our steps. We’ve had things stolen for our hallway, our car broken into 3 times, attempted to be stolen and steering wheel pulled off -Enough is enough now. We want to move but purely because of the area and underpass, eveyone that lives in the apartments here moves in and then out within the year because of all the trouble and all of it comes from the underpass.
