A nightclub (The King’s Bull) has opened in Barking, right on the doorstep of local residents, a church and a school - all without consultation.
It has been given a licence to open until 4.30am Friday - Sunday and the unbearably loud noise and anti-social behaviour has already forced tenants with young children, unable to sleep, to leave their flats.
Let’s get Barking and Dagenham council to put a stop to this now!

My boy goes to the school opposite and has found joints by the school gates on Monday mornings - appalling. How can this club be allowed to operate right opposite a School?
The parking situation is dangerous and I have been, on several occasions, verbally attacked and intimidated by patrons of the establishment who were blocking the entrance to my drive. The sound levels are ever increasing. I have witnessed members of the club leaving the building, urinating either on the green or up against the church grounds and then re-entering the club.
Absolutely appalling since it first opened. Noise levels are unacceptable both from the club itself and the patrons outside. The roads are dangerous around the club and people are urinating openly anywhere they please. There was no consultation over this and our sleep is constantly disrupted.
I glad someone started this petition ! I need to take sleeping pills to not hear whats happening ouside my windows. Disaster ! How they got licence to work till late like this. I deserve to sleep and have a rest on weekends. I cant sleep until 5am . It makes me very stressful , i cant live normal life.
It’s unbelievable that this club was given a late licence in an area with residential properties. Apart from the noise of the club, the noise of the huge number of cars parked nearby by patrons and the noise they make when they leave creates a very unsafe environment.
The club is a constant cause for problems. Parking in a private car park, on pavements both on North and East street, driving across pedestrian areas to access private (locked) car park. Noise from the actual venue is loud but more so that when the patrons of the club spill on to the street the noise is actually ridiculous. Patrons of the club have also exited the premises to urinate against the school fence, the church tower and up against trees. (They then renter the club which is baffling?!?! (Also in the current climate with social distancing there is no way those guidelines are being observed)
Let Barking be preserved where it still can be. This is an important historical area.

The noise is ridiculous and continues until 5am in the morning and disturbs everyone's sleep, especially children. There's fights breaking out, alcohol being consumed outside. It's not the reason I chose to purchase my property in the area. Please close this monstrosity down.
