I do not want the floating dry dock to be given approval to operate in Berry's Bay NSW. This is a beautiful Bay enjoyed by residents of the area and many visitors to the area. The floating dry dock operation will had environmental pollutants, be visually obstructive and intrusive and operational noise will disturb the home to many animals and people.

If the Dolphins are unsafe and that is documented can they be insured. If a barge breaks free of its mooring, crashes into a ferry or ship etc. Who excepts responsibility-the lease holder, the Government ? Interesting times ahead during the new Western Harbour tunnel construction

Once cleaned up it will make a wonderful sunken reef for fish and divers, in a pleasant land far away.

The FDD should be removed from Sydney harbour residential areas and relocated to Darwin or Yamba which may have a use for it. The FDD is currently not in survey and needs to be sunk and refloated with a boat in it to check its stability after so much material has been removed from it. If I had a 500 -750 t boat I would be very reluctant to allow my boat to be used as a test for an unproven FDD as it may capsize in the process.

Hi Jenny, I'm a reporter with Channel 9 and wanted to cover the State Government using Snails Bay as a dumping ground. Would you be free for a quick chat? My number is 0478468999. Thanks Sophie Walsh

Still there Feb 2021 with all the rest of the junk creating a eyesore . Sea gulls use the pieces for nesting and it is awful to watch the boats arrive to remove eggs and possibly chicks under a licence from OEH to harm.

A dock such as this should not be stationed in a residential area of inner Sydney Harbour

The dumping of other peoples large pieces of rubbish in Snails Bay has to stop. I walk past there every week and was shocked to see this last piece of junk a large grey dry dock. Why hasn't something been done with the parts of a floating restaurant that was also dumped there a couple of years ago. It is a disgrace.

Just now   delete Snails Bay over the last 3 years has become a dumping ground of floating rubbish. Please remove and recycle the old floating convention centre barges and the ugly floating dry dock. This is just not right and we request the authorities remove this rubbish from the bay

Recently more and more items, including the very large floating dry dock, have been added to the dolphins in Snails Bay. They now form a long line right along the peninsula from Ballast Point. Where will it end?

The practice of using the excuse of ‘oh, it’s a working harbour’ to cover for dumping of unwanted structures in Snails Bay, leaving then moored to unsafe structures for years and years must stop.

Snails Bay doesn’t need another piece of floating junk.

It’s a disgrace that Birchgrove has become the dumping ground for NSW
