Gay conversion therapy makes me sick. I think it's really important that you guys are doing this. I'm straight but I fully support the homosexual community and people should just learn to accept them.

I don't understand why this doesn't get banned by the Human Rights act. Whoever forces anyone to do this and forces them to continue deserves this treatment, not the person receiving the actual therapy. This is torture and should be illegal, if I saw this stuff happening from in a window I would call the police immediately. This treatment ruins lives, increases chance of suicide and causes long term damage to innocent people? So what if you want to have grandkids? So what if being gay is a social 'taboo'? Well to whoever agrees to give their innocent gay children this treatment, blood is red, tears are blue, I have five fingers, the middle one's for you.

New Zealand has been making great progress in ensuring equal rights for all of its citizens. Banning gay conversion therapy will make a powerful statement about acceptance while providing protection for vulnerable members of our society.
