Well said, Anje. In addition to the concerns you have raised there are additional concerns with more hardened convicts (levels three and four) being released from state prisons if Brown's proposed new bill is passed this fall - this is just the tip of the iceberg!

This illegal alien rights and wasted taxes dollars spent on them has to end. Governor Brown you are killing your citizens with these political games in search of votes. We need jobs and lots of them. We need industry.

I echo Anje's experiences! My Dad was a Police Leiutenant who died 10 yrs ago and I often think what would make of how unsafe Redding is now for his children and grandchildren. Our family no longer goes on our beautiful trails or to the our beautiful public library or to any public place alone because these tweeters, drugged out, homeless, and aggressive criminals approach us as we get in or out of our cars, as we shop, as we drive, walk from the parking lots of our hospitals to work and the list goes on! Shame on you Gov. Brown for releasing all these criminals into our communities and replacing a sense of safety with fear for all law abiding citizens and families!

I shouldn't have to worry about walking into the grocery store or taking my grandchildren for a walk in the community. Our families, homes, cars, personal property are no longer safe. Forget about the bullet train to serve S. Cal and spend the money to fight crime and make the citizens of California safe. We need our guns to protect ourselves from the criminals you keep putting back on the street.

This needs to be addressed & something done about crime, jail time, making criminals pay for their crimes. A punishment that fits the crime

It's time to stop robbing the citizens and sacrificing our safety in order to promote your self serving agenda. What happened to you governor, where is your integrity?

Please help to make our town safe again . Never in a million years did I ever think that I would have to carry a taser while walking into a store.
