WOMEN’S RIGHTS are an essential component of UNIVERSAL HUMAN RIGHTS.

Today, in 2013...
Women and girls around the world are refused access to education and political participation.
Many are married as children or trafficked into forced labor or sex slavery. Women and girls represent the greater share of total forced labour – 11.4 million victims.
They represent 98% of sexual exploitation forced labour market & account for about 75 per cent of all trafficking victims.

In Australia, about 2 in 3 women report experiencing at least one incident of physical or sexual violence over their lifetime and every week one women dies from domestic violence.

Let the world know where you stand. You can help close the gender divide. Swear the Oath and join the conversation for gender equality.

My oath,

I swear never to commit, excuse or remain silent about violence against women.

I swear to never commit or excuse sexism that reenforces the gender divide.

This is my oath.
