High schools in Plano ISD teach Dante's Inferno as part of the AP English IV curriculum. This book is offensive towards Jews and Muslims, showing graphic images of key religious figures in different levels of Hell. It furthers hatred towards these groups, as well as homosexuals, and it should be removed from the curriculum so that students don't feel uncomfortable with regards to their personal beliefs at school.
