We know who voted against the bill. This is not right to put the elderly out on the street. You will be killing a lot of people. Can you live with yourself. Believe me we the people are sick and tired of the way the goverment is doing things. We will vote you out. Please do your jobs.

We need you to approve HB 1054 to allocate funding for the ADvantage Waiver Program and other home and community based programs. Without this funding over 21,000 senior adults will loose all their care and support systems. In addition another over 50,000 senior adults and individuals with disabilities will be drastically affected with reduced services. This is absolutely unacceptable. What does this say about our state and legislators who would allow the frailest of the frail to parish or suffer without services? These cuts will impact 450 service providing agencies and will close the doors to many of them. These cuts will not only displace seniors with our care but will leave thousands of care givers and support staff without jobs. It will also require thousands of working adult to quit their jobs to help provide care for their senior or disabled loved one. This will impact State Agencies such as APS who will have to respond to neglect cases or cases in which senior are sustaining in dangerous environments. The ER and first responders (fire department and EMSA) will also become a primary support system for the seniors and disabled population that is impacted because the support systems that prevent them from going the ER or utilizing first responders are to be eliminated. These cuts will have a rippling effect on industries that rely on the healthcare industry for business or rely on individuals who are working that will now have to stay home to take care of their loved one. Many rule areas will be without care supports at all leaving seniors and individuals with disabilities in rule communities extremely venerable. In addition Federal matching dollars will have to be paid back resulting in the depletion of any reserved money had by the state. Plus we are not setting ourselves up well for the future of Oklahoma. The largest senior group in history is soon to enter the realm of needing care in the next 10 years. This group is nearly twice as big as t

McCall needs a wake up call with his self centered self. He is the only reason this bill did not pass. McCall is a young person whom has no clue about the detriment he is posing to Oklahomans as he is seeking a congregational seat. SELFISHNESS at it's finest. This is what we voted for? This man needs to be put in his place. Blow his phone and email up y'all. He cannot put our state in this situation. Does he even hone any family values, ethics, humanity? Does he care about his peers of Oklahomans and their jobs and or goals in life. NO right now he is only concerned with getting in a congregational seat.
