Palestine is for Palestinians as India is for we the indians. Indians would always support the cause of Palestine. Our government had always supported the recognition of Palestine in United Nations too. Insha allah soon Palestine will be a independent and sovereign country. Long live the friendship of India and Palestine. Indo Arab League Chairman, H.E. Syed Vicaruddin is the first Indian in history to receive the distinct honour of the Order of the Star of Jerusalem from H.E. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and was granted the distinguished rank of Officer of the Royal Order of Alaouite by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco. He has hosted national leaders over the years to boost Indo-Arab relations, and bring the focus of the nation on the plight of the Palestinian people. Several Indian Prime Ministers, Presidents and various other Central Ministers, and Chief Ministers of States have participated in his successful campaigns throughout the decades.

I am absolutely committed to a meaningful peace process between Israelis and Palestinians and that has to be one based on the 1967 borders.

We believe that a long-term solution to the human rights crisis facing the Palestinian people is only possible through a proper understanding of the situation that has developed over the past century, and through the proper use of words to describe that situation correctly.
