Anti-Alcohol & Drug Guidelines

As a student of SNU- SME, with my true knowledge, I hereby assure you that I will follow the below guidelines along with official guidelines of the Shiv Nadar University

1. Consumption of alcohol inside the premises of SNU campus is prohibited

2. Never encourage others to consume alcohol inside the premises of SNU campus

3. Drunken disorderliness inside the campus is prohibited

4. Roaming around the campus in drunken state at any time is prohibited

5. Intoxication, defined as being under the influence of alcohol to any extent, which causes a disturbance, or is a danger to persons or property, is prohibited

6. Alcoholic beverages and/or alcoholic beverage containers or possession of the functional equivalent, which indicate the probability of common source drinking, are prohibited and shall constitute a major infraction of University regulations

7. Involvement/Participation in any event or activity (wherever held) with alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited and will be considered a major violation of University regulations

8. Operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol (to any extent) is prohibited

9. Accountable for an alcohol violation when my guest violates the alcohol policy

10. On the whole I am the only one responsible for consequences occurred on that state of consumption of alcohol, if any in future.

Anti-Drug and Alcohol Pledge

I, as a student of School of Management and Entrepreneurships at Shiv Nadar University, do understand that University prohibit the use of drugs and alcohol. I understand the dangers associated with the use of alcohol and other drugs and the destructive behaviors often associated with impairment. I understand that any consumption of drug and alcohol, by me, goes against the message and mission of this university.
By signing this pledge, I will not use drugs or alcohol. I recognize that there are many potentially destructive decisions I face every day and commit to you that I will do everything in my power to avoid making decisions that will jeopardize my health, my safety and overall well-being, or your trust in me. In addition, by participating in MBA program, I agree to live a healthy lifestyle and be a positive role model for younger students.
By signing this pledge, I do understand that I will be held to a high standard. I pledge my best effort to remain free from alcohol and other drugs; I also abide that I will not possess, consume, aid, abetting of alcoholic beverages or other drugs. I pledge to build myself up and work harder at making life better today than it was yesterday.
