We, the undersigned, are outraged that innocent asylum families continue to be removed from their homes due to their asylum application being refused resulting in immediate deportation orders. Currently one of our pupils and his family is facing this uncertain situation which the whole family, including young children, are devastated about. We as a community school firmly disagree to this inhuman decision made by the Home Office. Tajmeet has been a member of our school for 1 year. During this time he has been an excellent, hard working student with a very good academic record. His attendance and punctuality record has been outstanding. Tajmeet has developed positive relationships with both staff and students, which makes him a valued member of the school. Tajmeet has never had any cause for concern in the time that he has been with us. I very much hope that Tajmeet will be allowed to stay in the country as I feel it would be a loss to our school as he has the potential to succeed academically and the community of Fir Vale.
