Please at least ask a real native American Indian If they have a problem with the teams name. Braves, warriors, I’d think are ok. Red Skin’s, even Indians I get.

This has become a huge mess. I am part blackfoot indian and the braves should not bother anyone. What is the school committee and mayor Tyer afraid of. Think it's time someone should man up to stop this petty crap.

The name braves is non offensive. It can mean many things and represented with numerous logos not relative to native americans
The people of Pittsfield do not accept your racist decision to scrub the respectful memory and acknowledgement to Native Americans as the Taconic High School Manitou Spirit.
