In our local group near Savannah, our store championships bring in about 20-30 people with our local events being well over 15. It is a shame that we do not have a higher level open to attend as most of us have young children or cannot afford the travel costs.

A lack of a close system open means if I want any cool promos (I.e. Boba Fett deck) that are given just for registering I’d need to pay twice the cost of just actually registering.

To put it short, I no longer live in the Southeast US, however I can speak to the volume of players and passion in the region and it's a no-brainer that a System Open event would be an incredibly positive experience for tournament organizers and participants alike. I miss the community out there and would love to see a great group of pilots get the chance to compete in a large-scale event such as this.
