The sheer weight of this support proves that the editors at Synthese can no longer hide behind their academic gatekeeping. They are terrified of a fair debate but the momentum behind this demand is becoming impossible for them to ignore.

This is just cowardice plain and simple. If Beckwith is right he shouldn't be scared of a response.
Academic integrity demands both sides get a fair shake. The editors are acting pretty biased here.

LET HER SPEAK!! Its common sense that if you attack someone in a journal they should be allowed to defend their own work.
