The following petition is based the the same nonsense that SYNCHRONY did with Mint/Quicken!!

Are you one of the many frustrated Personal Capital users that have accounts with Synchrony (formally GE Money Bank [GEMB] / GE Capital) with which you cannot access thru the Personal Capital service? Virtually every other financial institution supports this great personal finance platform. Many of us have been asking for updates from both sides and we either get no response or a canned response. The "canned response" from Synchrony goes something like this:

I call Synchrony today, and they gave me the security information pablum response that mirrored their response when they blocked Mint, citing that it is their priority to protect our personal information. Basically saying that Personal Capital does not currently meet Synchrony's security standards and protocols.

Nonsense, BS!! I bank with at least a 1/2 dozen top flight financial institutions that do not see this. I guess they must be wrong.... hah!

This has been observed in many threads as the exact same response to all users.

Let's tell Synchrony to either explain the full depth of the security issue or get with program and fix this or we will be taking our business elsewhere.
