This petition is to show our support for the Sylvan Athletics and the original decision to relieve Chad Fogleman from his duties as both Mite Boys basketball coach as well as Mite Girls basketball coach. His behavior on the court towards officials has been unprofessional. It provides these young boys and girls with a negative reputation as teams to both other teams and the current Alamance County Recreation officials. These young children are at a detrimental state of learning and should at no time be taught by someone with an aggressive or hostile attitude. Coaching youth is something that requires passion and love for both the sport and the children who are playing. Chad has shown through his behavior that he has no concern for the boys and girls he is coaching. He has acted selfishly by pulling two team mates from the boy’s team. This  put the boys in a situation where if they were short a player it would result in forfeit. The two children he pulled from the team missed a game as well as 2 practices. This shows very poor sportsmanship from someone who is supposed to be a coach and a role model to these children. This petition will be signed by every parent associated with the Boys team as well as a great deal from the girl’s team in hopes to overturn the decision to bring Chad Folgeman back as there coach!
