We should act now for we still have time or we’ll regret later.

BVC is located in a central zone of the city requiring majority of staff and students to access the school by mass transit. This poses a risk of possible contact with infected persons who are incubating COVID and asymptomatic. In addition, while we have individual class sizes less than 250 persons, it is impossible for staff and students to maintain the recommended 1 metre social distancing recommended by Public Health Canada within our classroom sizes. I see no reason why alternate delivery formats should not be initiated at this time as other post secondary schools have done to protect staff and students as a precautionary measure.

I believe making classes online will eradicate the spread of virus . School is a social place where students sit close to each other share benches touch door nobs , or even accidentally touch each other .

This school is in a high touch central area of the city where the main access is through public transit. This school needs to follow the other post secondary institutions since students are already now struggling with anxiety don’t make this worse on them.
