Dear Mr Sheard. We the undersigned are writing to offer our sincere shock and disgust at the reported abuse suffered by yourself following the away match at Wolves on August 16th. We believe that the \"fans\" who abused you are not representative of the generally good people that support and follow Sheffield Wednesday football club, we wish to strongly apologise for the behaviour that you witnessed. We all love this club, we all hurt by the decline of the club that you\'re very aware of over recent years and we\'re all desperate for the club to make steps towards solvency and more importantly sound and sensible running and operation. There\'s no denying the last few years have been painful ones for the supporters of Sheffield Wednesday but to attack the one person who it seems has the will and the people behind him to lift us out of this terrible financial and organisational hole that we\'re in is simply moronic, it should not happen again and we true Sheffield Wednesday supporters hope that it does not happen again. Thank you for all the efforts that you\'ve put in so far towards a takeover, fingers crossed the remaining stumbling blocks can be removed as soon as possible and the club can move forward into a successful future rather than being bogged down further and further by the failure of its past.
