We need our kids to play sport. It is the only outlet they have for mental health

The choice should be decided by the parent/guardian and athlete. Not our local government or a school board member. They should not have that kind of power to dictate a young athletes future.

There is absolutely no reason why children shouldn’t be participating in school sports using safe guidelines set by CDC and scientists. Kids need sports.

Open up our schools NOW. Enough is Enough. Our Students deserve better.

Our children are being affected by school and sport closures. We have attempted to protect them from a virus that is low risk to young children and teenagers, but in actuality we are hurting them more. Your plan to protect them has led to increases in suicide, drug usage, increased home abuse and other negative consequences. My children are struggling mentally, socially and academically because of these closures. My once 4.0 GPA HS sophomore is now struggling to keep up with distance learning while managing stress, anxiety and emotional distress due to not knowing what will happen to his football aspirations to play in a D1 college. Many children are suffering way more from all of this than from a virus that has a 99% survivable rate. Pls open up our schools and sports, allow dreams to be pursued. Support their mental and emotional state by returning them to the classroom and fields. Respectfully Alma Loe
