If bars, Walmart, Costco and other places can be open let the students play sports they have earned it.

I believe the opportunity for sports to continue should be equal in all of San Diego.

We need leaders who are willing to listen to students (and their parents) that desire to return to athletics, Most athletes are currently in the gym, participating on a club team, and training with their friends. Coaches and athletes who don’t want to participate don’t have to. Why do we have to be the last to return?
Serious question: how many high school students have been hospitalized due to COVID?

Some of these young men and women have been preparing for this for years. My son is a senior and this would be his last season playing Highschool football with his friends/teammates. This is really having an effect on him with no school and to top it off no sports either! It is messing with their mental wellness. Please reconsider and let them play the sports they love.

We need sports because this is an escape to some of these athletes from their home issues.
