It’s imperative for the mental health of our children that they be allowed to play sports. They are already dealing with so much with distance learning and now you take sports from them?!?! Our children’s mental and physical well being is not being considered when making decisions that will have a major affect on them. Let them practice/play!!!

Kids need sports. It’s an outlet for them and a time where nothing else matters.

Stop all this behavior. Theses kids have dreams and goals. Check them as often as you want, but don’t take this too! For some kids this is their only contact with others outside of class!

You guys are an absolute embarrassment to our district. Your mismanagement of our district is being taken out on our children. Drive around our campus they are nit being care of. Look at the fields they look horrible!!! And drive around our community and look at all the vandalism being done. Kids need places to go! They need to get back on the fields, have structure, find their passion again before its too late. Stop taking control of their future and dreams.

Seriously thinking of moving districts. The only thing keeping us is my sons love of his team and the friends he has made. Let them play.

SUHSD, Please let the students practice whether on high school campuses or at City parks within the County of San Diego. Across the County of San Diego, no matter what City you live in within San Diego, for example, a restaurant whether its located in Chula Vista, Pacific Beach, National City, Rancho Bernardo, Poway, Ramona, etc., if all these restaurants within these locations can open equally then why can't SUHSD be allowed to practice sports just like other school districts like Grossmont, SD City Schools, Poway, Ramona School Districts, etc within the same County of San Diego? Shouldn't we all be equal? Even though the news and SUHSD show there are higher case rates in the South Bay they still allow the restaurants in the South Bay to open just as the other Cities within the County of San Diego. The students can practice in groups and social distance, wear masks, use hand sanitizers, etc., whatever it takes to get the students to practice sports. Also, they can practice in small groups if you require this for contact tracing. SUHSD please show us you even have a plan instead of just saying "no" they can't practice yet because of the higher case rates in the South Bay. Also, you need to please show us these case rate numbers versus the other Cities, and what type of community outbreaks in the South Bay. The students in the SUHSD are missing out on physical activities with their teams and should be given the opportunity NOW and ASAP to practice just like the other school districts within the County of San Diego. They should not have to wait until November/December to practice. Thank you.

Why did the best basketball player leave our district to move out of state?? Because he had no choice for his future! If he doesn’t do that and care about himself no one else will you all have shown that. Our NBA draft has left the South Bay because you won’t let them play. Good job, continue to ruin peoples lives!!! Hope that makes you proud! GOOD LUCK Mikey your future is bright else wear. Hope one day you will remember us!
