We the undersigned find the proposed changes to the traditional kilt for our Scottish Army Regiments to be unnacceptable. Furthermore, we are strongly opposed to kilts being supplied for our soldiers on the basis of \"cheapest is best\". Kilts have been made in Scotland in a traditional way for centuries and supplied to our soldiers. Some pride in our heritage should be recognised and not just saving a few pounds for \'budgets\'. We urge MSPs and MPs in Scotland to lobby the relevant official bodies who make these decisions in an effort to reverse this deeply unwelcome move.
