I've owned 4 of these beasts since 1999 so it's a shame to see them go off-market in . Hell, their value went up by at least a grand recently. But if you're going to reinvent them Mr Suzuki, please fix the seat and the footrest position.

If all they did was change to EFI it would be worth it.

Form Ohio! I actually bought a 23’ KLR for the fuel injection and windshield. Would have considered a DR650 if it had both. Had a 2011 and loved it! Great motor.

Desde Argentina somos muchos usuarios que queremos la DR650, sin dudas que alguna mejora tal como ABS e inyección serían bárbaras para nuestro país, mayormente la EFI para los lugares de altura como la cordillera de los Andes.

Love my DR650, but would also love a simple bike in this size/weight/price range with some more modern features.

Add fuel injection, water cooling. Keep screw-adjuster valves. Maintain sub-400 pound wet weight.

Come on! This can't be *that* expensive R&D-wise, and all we need is a few minor tweaks, not a redesign. Throw just a few crumbs at your beloved old "cash-cow" machine, and sell a ton more...

My hope: 6 speed, FI, while maintaining air/oil cooling. Switchable ABS would satisfy for the safety sissies. And an updated suspension, and sub-330 lb wet weight would make it perfect. We are waiting Suzuki.

I've had a 2007 model and had to make numerous upgrades to make it work for me. I moved on to more modern bikes, but I'd buy a fuel-injected, upgraded DR650 in a minute.
