Due to the threat of COVID-19, schools all over the region suspended their classes indefinitely or until the end of the semester. Because of this, teachers and professors resorted in using online platforms to continue their classes. Although this looks good on their part, we cannot change the fact that we are in a country where internet is undoubtedly slow and in some areas, non-existent.

Therefore we students of Holy Angel University petition to stop all ongoing online classes in order to be fair to those who cannot afford to access the internet. This act is also to prevent students without home access to internet in going outside to browse in internet cafés, because by doing so, they are risking their and their families health and further increasing the spread of the said virus. Furthermore, not all can afford mobile internet services which is as costly and as risky as browsing in computer shops or internet cafés. I hope that you can understand our concern and realize this petition of ours.
