bring in a ward system and make councilors accountable..the current system does nothing but allow council to defer interest in issues without repercussions. its archaic

Mayor diane twatts seems to only be concerend with filling her pockets and the rapid development of this very FAST moving city, time to put down the construction hammer and pick up the one for the judicial system !. It's time to start caring about the citizens of surrey. If you dont have the people, you DON'T have a city. ALSO get rid of ALL of the rogue junkie recovery houses and money grubbin price gouging slum/land lords.

The ward system worked very well according to old timers in Surrey. Can we bring it back? Rather doubtful any modern day council would be in favour of it. But that should not stop us from asking for its return.

I think we don't need more Councillors. Rather reduce their number

Surrey councillors do not care for the community because they do not belong to any ward. I have been through city hall and very disappointed the way these councillors are treating surrey residents.(Except couple of them)

A democratic ward system is the only way out of the mess that Surrey First has created in Surrey. The Most Dangerous and Deadly City in Canada. 20 Vilent Crrimes a Day. A Sexual Assault including Rape every day of the year. A level of Violent Crime that is double Seattly and Portland and on par with some of the worst cities in the US. Without a Ward System the big money developer controlled machine will continue to run wild and the citizens will continue to suffer. Surrey First has masterminded and orchestrated the current horror story and until we have a ward system the Citizens will never be able to wrestle Surrey back from the Developers and Speculators who own the mayor and council and run the city.
