Wetherby Street Centre provided our children and their families with high quality child-care for many years. Under current council proposals Wetherby Street is at risk of transfer to a third party management or closure. We believe this will have a detrimental effect on the quality of the service, in standards of equipment, care and education.

We the undersigned call upon Manchester City Council to reconsider the proposed changes and to continue to own and operate Wetherby Street Children's Centre so that children and parents can continue to benefit from the high quality day care and education they provide.
