The principal should be fired immediately. As if African/Americans don't have a hard enough battle with racism and self love.

Being in your natural state be in physically, mentality and spirituality is a Human Right. One's natural hair should not be policed, it should be affirmed and applauded since that act is a direct challenge to a EuroCentric society which teaches people of color to hate themselves. I stand by the #SupportthePuff movement because I am proud of the skin I am in, and I am proud of these young ladies for standing in their power and natural beautiful selves.

I'd take this case to the Supreme Court if I had to. A similar case dealing with school uniform policy (jewelry) was challenged and won recently. This is blatant discrimination and should never be tolerated.

I am so glad that these young ladies are standing up for themselves. I don't see a problem with natural hair at all. Besides EVERYONE is going natural. Almost every work place you can think of there is someone or a few people rocking the help out of their puffs. Why take such a thing from us ? but like beyonce said I like my baby heir with baby hair and afros . I intend on going back natural myself and it's healthier for the hair anyway less products less heat less damage once it's taken care of .

If you wouldn't demand a cheetah to change its spots, then it's equally important that you shouldn't ask a human being to change anything about what they was born with.

Stop promoting European standards of beauty! These girls are not hurting anyone. Leave them alone. If you don't care for the look of unprocessed hair, don't wear it. You don't have the right to force your fashion tastes on anyone. They are dressed appropriately and are neat and clean. Come into the 21st Century and out of the antiquated slave master ideology that says only straight hair is beautiful. The British did a job on the West Indies! We need to move away from that!

I stand FIRMLY with our young women wanting to wear their hair naturally. It is absurdity to say otherwise!!!

Our hair should be the last of the worries, we are entitled to be proud of our natural curls. Our hair is apart of our history. Don't like it don't look.

It's the hair they were born with, so why should they be required to change it.
