I'm disgusted by the lack of acceptance for black Beauty espicially black natural hair which is a beautiful component of who we are. We are beautiful inside and out and GOD'S CREATION. Beautiful daughter smile and love yourself let no man or woman question your endless beauty and worth in this world.

I sign this petition of of respect for this beautiful young girl whom was told that her big, gorgeous, puffy natural hair was "untidy" "unruly" and "unkempt". No black girl, or black woman, should have to go through this or experience this type of discrimination and hate for embracing the wonderful natural hair that they were born with. Our "nappy" hair is to be celebrated, embraced, loved, cared for, and RESPECTED. Our natural hair is beautiful, and we love our "kinky, nappy" hair. God bless this bright young lady whom had to deal with this hate and ignorance from her own educator today at a place that is supposed to be about LEARNING and caring for students.

As a frequent natural hair Afro/puff wearer, it appalled me when I heard of such atrocities. How dare this school force young girls to change how they were made in order to conform with the twisted society thoughts of "professionalism". It is 2016, why are children and teenagers such as myself, a 17 year old juinor, being forced to wear perms and weaves? Learn to love yourself and embrace how you were made? Aren't schools supposed to teach that concept?
