To prevent any eager student from getting an education is an injustice. To simultaneously body shame them is a disgrace. Let these girls learn.

It's a shame that you would try and discourage this young girls to dislike themselves. You have thousands of girls dying daily trying to fit into what the Media views a beautiful.

I support the girls wearing their hair without chemicals in their hair that change the structure of the way the strands come out of their heads.

Last I checked, these young ladies' hair IS their heritage. To call their hair untidy and unprofessional has me looking at the principal as untidy and unprofessional.

High School teachers and principals have difficult jobs. I am sorry this principal was lacked the information and perspective to respond differently. I am a Bahamian who has lived overseas for 30 years. I have managed to get through all kinds of education with all kinds of hair. Lets hope the our rising generations have the same freedom.

This fake a$$ principal who obviously hates being black doesn't need to be heading up anybody's school. What she needs is to be educated about our History.

I love my natural diverse HEALTHY head of Curls. I'm offended it offends them because they don't possess this gift from God. I Am A Natural Goddess!

It's 2016. It makes no sense that a child has to chemically alter her hair in order to be accepted at a school. What does hair texture has to do with learning?
