I'm natural myself and I wouldnt want my principal telling me I can't wear my hair a certain way to appease them. I'm in total support of their hair. I love it. Keep doing you and don't let them tell you to be who you are not.

Hi, my name is Petton. In my opinion these girls should be able to wear their hair anyway they want to. It's their hair, not the racist priniciopal's. They shouldn't be just because of the way their hair is. 1. They were born that way. 2. It's not fair for them to have to change their hair if the other students dont. 3. Their hair is a part of who they are and their culture. If you wouldn't try to change the other students culture, then you cant change theirs.

Im a white 23 year old woman but I have mixed family aunties, cousins, godchildren, nephews and nieces . I'd be angry as hell if someone told a member of my family they couldn't wear their natural hair whether they were white or mixed or black or any other race/colour with a different hair type or texture and I sure as hell would be complaining to the school! Why does what their hair looks like matter isn't their education more important than looks as if it isn't hard enough for young girls without ADULTS singling them out too! Ridiculous

If we don't stop this things will get worse! Are wr really free if they can do as they wish with their hair ,but dictate how we wear ours? We better stand together !! Many of us struggle to stay true to ourselves, and they want to keep telling us that being us isn't good enough!
