We are a Christian country, so why should we not show it. If it offends people of other religions so be it.

It seems strange to me no mater how bizarre a persons behaviour is. they can promote it wether religious oh sexual from adultery to homosexuality but if the church promotes forgiveness and truth and love it is automatically shut down God did not send Christ to condem but to forgive but that is where repentance comes in.

It is offensive in a primarily Christian country to suppress a simple advert for prayers. It will not offend anyone except politically correct extremists that we need to rid from controlling our society.

I find their ludicrous "PC" decision offensive and shall be boycotting these cinemas until they think again.

The Lords Prayer should be shared especially at this time of year when we will be celebrating the birth of Christ

One of the most challenging lines in the Lord's Prayer is: 'forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us'. This is often said quite blithely, but the spiritual responsibly it imposes on us should make us think more carefully in our daily dealings with others. It is very easy to fall foul of this. That any institution should censure the utterances of Our Lord is to fill one with great indignation and offence. But the lesson for us all contained within this prayer, is that we should give gracious voice to our righteous indignation, but at the same time forgive those that have given rise to it.

If donations are being asked for, it's no wonder there are only a comparatively few names on this petition!!

I was deeply saddened & disturbed by the decision made by these cinema chains not to screen the Lord's Prayer, especially in the run up to Christmas - what hypocrisy! I will not be going to any of these cinemas unless this shameful decision is reversed.
